I didn't realize it when she said goodbye and we drifted apart.

In a flash of a second, she was gone.

...Gone light-years away from me.

Today I see her smile from this distance,

but I wonder,

when did those lips curl into that smile...

How many years have passed since then...

And how does she look today...
